Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention

When: Demo Class: July 13th then Thursdays, July 20th – Sept 7th.
Where: 55 Laguna St
What: Learn this simplified Tai Chi, specically designed for older adults, with Openhouse instructor, Patty Woods!

Patty is a longtime Tai Chi practitioner and graduate of the Tai Chi for Health’s Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention training.

Thursday, July 13th: Patty will provide a “demo” class as an opportunity to see if this is the right class for you. Come on the 13th to check it out and get registered.

This 8-week course is aimed at alleviating arthritic joint stiffness and improving balance.

Drop-In & Mindfulness Meditation Group

When: Every Friday at 11:00 am
Where: The Sequoias Retirement Community, 1400 Geary Street – Map
What: Please join us for our Openhouse non-denominational meditation, for all experience levels facilitated by long-time Openhouse volunteer, David Lewis. Group sits for part of the hour and then has some time to share their experiences with each other if desired. Sometimes the instructor will offer a brief talk or question to consider. This is a very welcoming group. We welcome you to join us.
